How It Works

  1. You choose a date and time that you would like to book your therapy session
  2. You can select ‘auto assign’ a relationship therapist.  which means we will select the right therapist for you. This option increases the likelihood of getting the exact date/time you have requested
  3. Or alternatively, you can select the ‘choose your therapist’ option. That therapist will endeavour to do the date/time you have asked for – but it is not guaranteed. However, it will still be close to your request. If for any reason that particular therapist is unavailable at that time, we will offer you an alternative or you can choose to have a refund.
  4. You then pay for your first session via PayPal or bank/credit card upon booking.
  5. You will then be sent a full confirmation e-mail with the date/time of the booking. The therapists name and contact details.
  6. The relationship therapist will send you a Zoom link, by email, prior to your session. You just click on this clink a couple of minutes prior to your appointment and it will take you straight to your session.
  7. To make the most of your session we suggest you use a PC, Laptop or i pad and not a phone.

All future bookings will be between you and your therapist and payment will be made directly to them.

FAQ’s

Q

How much are the sessions?

A

£70 per couple for a one hour Zoom session
£130 per couple for a 'Two Hour Intensive Recovery Zoom Session'
£60 for a one-hour individual Zoom session

Q

How and when do we pay?

A

You pay at the time of booking either by bank card or PayPal

Q

Do you offer concessions for low earners?

A

No, we are a private relationship counselling service and our fees are set.

Q

Is it cheaper for us to book a block of sessions?

A

We do not take block bookings because we do not know if you will need a certain amount of sessions so would not want you to pay for something you don’t need.

Q

Does our appointment have to be on the same day and time each week?

A

No, it doesn’t. We appreciate that you are busy so you cannot always make the same time each week. Therefore, after the first session, your relationship therapist will work with you to find a day/time that is convenient for you both.

Q

Do we have to have a set number of sessions?

A

Not at all. We understand that people have financial/work/childcare commitments. So, you can choose how often you wish to book a session. In an ideal world, we would recommend that you try and have at least three sessions (one a week). This gives momentum and allows the full benefit of the relationship therapy much quicker. Then, if you choose to, you can then agree with your therapist to spread the sessions out.

Q

What if I want to cancel my booking?

A

As long as you give us more than 24 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled appointment time you will be given a full refund through your method of payment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be fully chargeable.

Q

What if I want to change my booking time?

A

Please e-mail us at sian@onlinecouplescounselling.com and we will endeavour to change the time for you.

Q

What if we feel the relationship therapist we have chosen is not right for us?

A

That is not a problem, not every therapist is right for every couple. You are not tied to going back to the same therapist if you feel for any reason that they are not quite right for you. Just drop us an e-mail or rebook directly online. We have a number of different therapists you can choose from.
