Meet Jacquie Watch their introduction ## Background & Experience I have over 20 years of experience working with both couples and individuals, holding an Advanced University Diploma in Couple Counselling. Throughout my career, I have worked across diverse settings, from local government focusing on housing policy to lecturing in a multicultural college in East London. These roles have fostered my commitment to inclusivity and deepened my understanding of people from all walks of life. A significant portion of my career has been dedicated to the voluntary sector, where I supported individuals through challenges including mental health, domestic abuse, and reparative justice. I also have extensive experience working with individuals on the autistic spectrum and supporting their families during difficult times. This varied background allows me to bring a broad, empathetic perspective to my relationship work. During my time with Relate, I worked in conjunction with CAFCASS, utilising my expertise as both a couples counsellor and a qualified child therapist. Often, this involved helping separating parents reach agreements and create shared plans that prioritised the well-being of their children.
