My training was carried out through 'Relate', where I gained Level 4 & 5 Post Graduate Diplomas. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with a diverse range of couples across different ages, cultures, and sexualities. Prior to specialising in couples counselling, I worked as a Registered Midwife within the NHS. This background gave me a deep appreciation for the psychological aspects of care, particularly in providing emotional support following trauma. The transition to counselling was a natural evolution of these skills.
