Online Couples Counselling provides a platform connecting individuals and couples with qualified, registered therapists for online counselling sessions. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and over who are located in the United Kingdom. By booking a session, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Booking & Payment

• Sessions must be paid for in advance at the time of booking
• Prices are displayed on our website and may be updated from time to time
• Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the session will receive a full refund or credit
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable
• Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to therapist availability

5. Nature of Services

Our services are counselling and therapy services, not medical advice. Our therapists are qualified professionals registered with relevant professional bodies (e.g., BACP, UKCP). However:

• Counselling is not a substitute for medical treatment
• We do not provide emergency or crisis services
• If you are in immediate danger, please call 999 or contact the Samaritans on 116 123

6. Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential in accordance with our therapists' professional codes of ethics. Exceptions to confidentiality include situations where there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or where disclosure is required by law.

7. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information during registration and intake
• Attend sessions on time in a private, quiet location
• Ensure a stable internet connection for video sessions
• Treat therapists and staff with respect

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by Online Couples Counselling and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Online Couples Counselling shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services in question.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
