About Mark
Hello, my name is Mark and I take a common sense, step-by-step, and non-judgemental approach to online couple therapy. My goal is to work with you as individuals while also treating the relationship as an entity in its own right. Together, we will gain insight into any unhelpful patterns of behaviour that may have developed over time, giving you both a safe space to explain what isn’t working and why.
During our sessions, I ensure you both have the opportunity to be heard, allowing your partner the chance to really listen and understand your point of view. From there, we work together to create a stronger and more satisfying bond. I will also help you develop the practical tools needed to manage conflict more effectively in the future.
Every relationship is unique, so I tailor my sessions to your specific needs. If you are currently unsure about what you want the final outcome to be, that is perfectly okay; we will work together at your pace to help you find the clarity and understanding you need to move forward.

Background & Experience
Prior to qualifying as a psychotherapist eight years ago, I spent many years working within commercial organisations in training and managerial roles. This background, combined with my life experiences across varied cultures, has been instrumental in my development as an effective therapist. I am particularly skilled at defusing tense situations and creating a positive atmosphere where empathy can evolve.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). My professional experience spans working with couples of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, and cultural identities. Whether you are dealing with communication breakdowns or feeling 'stuck', my compassionate yet objective approach helps identify the specific areas of thinking and interaction that are causing tension.
