    About Michael

Hello, I'm Michael and I understand that seeking support can be a challenging step, and my aim is to support you in achieving your therapy goals throughout this process. Whether you are seeking online individual, marriage or couples counselling, I provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you will both have the time and space to express your concerns and discuss the issues that are most important to you.

During our sessions, you will have the opportunity to gain insight, understand, and learn, alongside having the time to reflect on your own experiences. Relationships often involve multiple factors that can impact your connection; therefore, we will explore each of these components together, examining how they become noticeable in your daily life and the roles they play in your relationship.

Online relationship therapy can arouse a wide range of emotions as we explore different themes and aspects of your life. It is important to remember that it is completely natural to express these feelings as we navigate this journey together. I am here to facilitate a process where you can explore your relationship dynamics with complete confidentiality and professional guidance.

    Background & Experience

I have over 10 years of professional counselling experience and hold a Master’s degree in Relationship Therapy from a course founded by Relate. Following my formal education, I continued working with Relate for several years, gaining extensive experience with couples spanning various ages, backgrounds, cultures, and religious beliefs.

My professional background is diverse, having provided counselling services to individual adults, families, and young people within both the charity sector and private practice. This work has included collaborating with schools, social care, and mental health services to ensure comprehensive support for my clients. I also have experience in coaching, helping individuals develop strategies to achieve their personal goals and move forward positively.

In addition to my core relationship work, I have assisted clients in addressing complex issues such as bereavement and substance misuse. This broad experience allows me to understand the various external pressures that can place strain on a relationship, helping me to equip couples with the necessary tools to overcome barriers to intimacy and communication.
