    About Rose

My name is Rose, and I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space for you to explore your unique challenges. Whether you are feeling stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts, finding it difficult to communicate, or encountering obstacles in your personal life, I am here to help you find a way forward. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I empower you to achieve your specific personal goals, such as improving self-esteem, resolving past traumas, or managing anxiety.

In our sessions, I integrate Person-Centred therapy with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques. This means our work is focused on your individual needs while providing you with active tools to reshape unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. My specialist skill in CBT enables me to guide you through a journey of self-discovery, helping you recognise and adjust the cognitive distortions that contribute to emotional distress.

Together, we will work on rediscovering healthy coping mechanisms and fostering deeper self-compassion. If you are comfortable doing so, we may also explore past experiences to gain greater emotional clarity. My aim is to provide a warm, professional environment where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to move forward with renewed confidence and purpose.

    Background & Experience

My professional journey began with hands-on experience as a Social Worker, supporting various councils within London and Kent. A significant part of my career has been dedicated to nurturing the mental well-being of children and young individuals, collaborating closely with families, educational institutions, and multidisciplinary agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to mental health support.

Parallel to my professional work, I served as a volunteer mentor, which broadened my perspective and enriched my understanding of diverse communities. This experience ignited my interest in supporting vulnerable groups and led me to complete advanced training in psychotherapy. Today, I adhere to the highest professional standards set forth by the BACP and NCPS, ensuring my practice is grounded in evidence-based methods and ongoing professional development.
