    About Ryan

Hello my name is Ryan and I'm a qualified counsellor specialising in online relationship therapy. I provide a balanced and respectful space where both partners feel heard. My aim is to help you understand the dynamics of your relationship, encouraging you to talk more clearly and reconnect with less conflict and more compassion.

I tailor every session to your unique relationship rather than using a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you are struggling with a loss of trust, emotional distance, or recurring conflict, I work to create a space where empathy and emotional closeness can grow again. My style is calm and structured, helping you move from tension towards a more supportive partnership.

I have extensive experience supporting couples through range of challenges, including infidelity, family pressures, grief, addiction, and intimacy difficulties. I also work confidently with neurodivergent couples and those who have different emotional processing or communication styles, ensuring that every session is accessible and productive for both individuals.

    Background & Experience

Before training as a therapist, I spent many years in education, training, and senior leadership roles. In these positions, I focused on supporting people to develop confidence, resilience, and wellbeing. This background in leadership and human development continues to shape my therapeutic work today, providing me with a practical and grounded perspective on relationship dynamics.

For over ten years, I have taken NHS referrals alongside my own private practice, worked with a diverse range of clients and presenting issues. Having experienced therapy myself, I understand how important it is to feel safe and supported when opening up about personal matters. I am committed to professional excellence, completing regular ongoing CPD and following the BACP ethical guidelines.
