About Sabine
Hello, my name is Sabine and I am a fully qualified Humanistic Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and Relationship Therapist. I understand that all couples experience difficulties, whether those challenges arise from within the relationship or from outside factors that have a negative impact on your partnership.
Couple counselling facilitates new ways of looking at things and more effective ways of dealing with the problems impacting you and your partner. My approach is sensitive, supportive, and caring, as I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of successful therapy. I ensure you have the time and space to feel heard and understood regarding why you are struggling.
Poor communication is the most common reason for couples to seek relationship therapy. A lack of respect in how you talk to one another or your arguing styles can have a negative impact in many ways, often leading to a loss of intimacy and built-up resentment. Together, we will work to address these patterns to help you achieve a happier and healthier relationship, or to support you in separating more amicably.

Background & Experience
My experience working as a therapist spans a number of years across various agencies and establishments, including universities, detention centres, and bereavement agencies, alongside my own private practice. This diverse background has allowed me to work with hundreds of couples and individuals from a wide range of cultures.
While my experience has opened me up to dealing with a broad range of issues such as depression, anger, anxiety, and stress, relationship therapy is my specialist area. I hold an Oxford College Diploma in Relationships and Couple Counselling and I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
