Relationship Counselling
It is common for couples to want help with their relationship but they struggle to find the time. This may be due to location, long working hours/work travel or difficulties around childcare. To meet this demand, we offer online counselling via Zoom, which means you can book your session at a time and place that suits you - even if you are in different locations.
It can feel like a big step taking the decision talking to someone else about the issues in your relationship, especially as one of you might be resistant to counselling. However, rest assured; relationship counselling is not about who is right or wrong, it's about open discussion and helping you both trying to achieve the outcome you want,
The purpose of Couples Therapy is to help you stay together as a couple unless you tell explicitly tell us you wish to separate. In which case, our Relationship Therapists will help you do so more amicably and with a greater understanding of why the relationship broke down in the first place.

Relationship Problems
Relationships can be one of the most fulfilling and pleasurable areas in our life. However, occasionally our relationships can become full of tension, resentment, hurt and conflict causing pain and upset to one or both parties
Generally, poor communication is the main factor which causes issues in relationships. Many of the individuals we see claim they are not being listened to, or that their partner doesn't take the time to understand what they are saying. It’s also common for the same topics to provoke arguments and blame without a solution being found - so couples find themselves going around and around in circles.
It takes courage to listen to your partner and a commitment to understand their point of view, let alone find the words to say what’s important from your own point of view. Through gentle questioning our counsellors will help you explore the underlying issues in order for you to both achieve a new level of understanding.
Whether you choose to have sessions with your partner or alone. Whether you are gay, heterosexual, married or single; relationship counselling offers a safe and confidential setting in which to explore your difficulties and to help find more productive and fulfilling ways of relating to each other.
Common relationship issues: - Infidelity and affairs. 'Stuck' relationships. Intimacy problems. Jealousy and suspicion. Stale relationships. Breaks Up's and Divorce.
